What's for dinner Wednesday

My grocery shopping was a success this morning! I was $17 over my budget, but in my defense I had to buy a couple things like red wine vinegar and worschertsire (however on earth you spell that!) sauce. Which obviously I'm not going to use the bottle of it, so they'll remain in my pantry. I know I can do better, but I feel pretty good about our trip this morning!

Now, onto more important things... what's for dinner? Tortellini soup! I absolutely love this recipe. I made it once last year and it was a big hit with everyone. Tortellini is a little on the expensive side (hey, were on a tight budget here people!) so this isn't something we make often. I got this recipe from Real Simple, they always have delicious and simple ideas for weeknight meals!

*I used chicken breasts instead of a whole chicken for two reasons- 1. I am kind of creeped out by a whole chicken (hey I'm just starting to branch out of my hamburger helper ways ok, give me some time!) and 2. We already have chicken breasts on hand, and it just seems easier to me.

Bon Appetit!
